Joining the KAL will give you access to a group chat/channels on Discord where you can share progress, chat with other knitters, and get support from me, the designer!
I will also hold weekly or bi-weekly “office hours” where we can hang out, get to know each other, and where I can provide more support/ideas as you work on your bag!
-
We’ll knit the Pomodoro Purse over the course of 4 weeks aiming for the following schedule:
Week 0 (7/16 - 7/22): Gather your materials and gauge swatch
Week 1 (7/23 - 7/29): Cast on + Purse Bottom
Week 2 (7/30 - 8/5): Working the purse body
Week 3 (8/6 - 8/12): Working the purse handle
And don’t worry if you don’t keep the same pace! I’m always available to help if you need me, and the server will stay up until it seems that everyone has finished!
-
You are free to use the Living Room voice channel in the Discord server whenever you want, and I’ll be hosting an official “Office Hour” 3 times a week on the following schedule:
Thursdays 6:30 - 8:00pm EST
Saturdays 9:00 - 10:30am EST
Tuesdays 6:30 - 8:00pm EST
I’ll be there to provide support and guidance and also to get to know all of you! And if you independently schedule other times to hang out, I’ll try to drop into those, too.
