Here at Stonewear Makes, I love to create sophisticated, joy-filled knitting patterns and free colorwork charts inspired by the creativity of the knitting community. I blend thoughtful design with whimsy and warmth, turning shared ideas into projects that celebrate the joy of making by hand.

A little about me:

• I’ve been knitting for ~18 years, ever since the owner of a tiny yarn store in Maine took me under her wing

  I spent years crafting my own things (NO PATTERNS!!) until I finally decided in 2025 that it was time to learn from all the incredible designers out there

• Since then, I’ve delighted in working on and developing my own designs. What is starting with colorwork charts will one day turn into my own set of garment patterns! Stay tuned!

• Outside of my artistic endeavors I work as a software developer (a job that I surprisingly love for a lot of the same reasons I love knitting. Weird, I know).
